Here is my self-portrait, from Christmas break. Needless to say it was a funny one to make. I was trying to depict what I did over my Christmas break, and that was..well being a slob haha. We also did a couple shots with my TLR waist finder camera. A special thanks to my girlfriend Kari Larsen for pushing the shutter on this one.
With this assignment we had to shoot a product on a white background then cut it out and drop it onto another background in Photoshop. I decided to shoot a pair of baseball gloves, and I used the color from the gloves in the background as well.
Here is another high key photo shoot I did with a couple other students. With this assignment we had to shoot someone on a white background standing, sitting, and laying down. So I tried my best to come up with some interesting poses for these shots.
Here is a crazy conceptual still life I came up with for my school project. We had to pick different words to create an image. I chose. Wrench, Egg, and pressure. I think I did pretty good and showing the pressure part.
We had an assignment to shoot with just window light. With a two stop difference from highlight to shadow. So I just had a reflector to my lovely models left (camera right). I turned the one on top to black and white because I found it had enough contrast to do so. And because I have the power to do so. I would like to thank my amazing model Kari for being such a great model and putting up with me shooting lots of images of her. and for being such a good girlfriend.
