The Lift is my sixth photo in my series of work on the mountain. It can be by far colder than the Cabriolet when there is a good breeze going. How did me and my trigger man get this photo? Simple we were both just doing our job. I was riding up to my zone at the top of High Meadow and he was down the run shooting action photos. All I had to do was yell down at him to let him know I was coming. When it came to cropping the image I decided to go with a more artistic crop working with the shapes from the lift. I also love the fact that its snowy, it really shows that snow or shine were up there working on the mountain. As for my pose in the photo I decided to mimic what 90% of punks like myself do when riding up and see the camera man below.
Trigger man: Joesph
Strobist: Snowy overcast day.
Camera info: Nikon D80 | 70mm-300mm ƒ/4.5-5.6 | ƒ/7.1 | 1/1600th | ISO 400.
