Today I photographed Igor a good guy and soccer player. I had a lot planned out for this shoot. I knew exactly how I wanted to photograph him and light it and I knew where. And of course I didn’t photograph him how I had planned it just went in the direction it went in really. I don’t know why but I was planning on shooting this with a good telephoto lens but I always get sucked into the wider lenses for some reason. I think part of that reason is because its different its not what you see every day. And I just think it looks cool.
Anyways I added some before the shoot shots and of course some images from the shoot and I couldn’t really include after because it was too dark to take much of anything.

My car packed up with 4 light kits and a D3

Had to be prepared “BSA”

The basic set up for the day

Bryan Bautas my awesome assistant for the day

This was just luck we got there and some kids were just finishing up practice and one of there dads came over and we ended up getting this shot pretty much.

This was pretty much my basic idea I was going for

Now this one took forever to get the grass blades in the right spot the ball in the right spot and the logo on the ball in the right spot…No I’m kidding it was just hard to get the ball in the frame the rest just happened.

If it wasn’t for Igor being the man at soccer and Bryan Bautas being awesome and taking time out of his day just to help me out on this shoot this wouldn’t have happened. So a special thank you to them both.
